What does it mean to live consciously, moment to moment?
Consciousness equals awareness - awareness in our language and in our thought patterns.
Ask yourself, “Am I continually and consciously seeing Perfection in me and others?”
Is it even possible to be permanently aware and “voting victory” moment to moment?
Self-sabotage can be sneaky.
I recently experienced myself unconsciously agreeing with imperfection in another person. I’ll explain.
Seated on a recent flight, I noticed another passenger sitting across the aisle in the row in front of me. A service animal sat in her lap. I noticed the passenger involuntarily shaking as she stroked her service animal.
Unconsciously my mind wandered, and I imagined several scenarios why she might require assistance from her service animal. I quietly thanked God for her service animal and hoped they would both have an easy flight.
Wait, WHAT ?!?!?!
WHAT AM I DOING?
My consciousness woke up. Why am I agreeing to this passenger’s imperfection? Why am I hoping? What happened to my practice of seeing Perfection and voting Victory?
Cancel clear. I recommit to my consciousness! NOW!
I immediately love my unconscious mistake.
Making my unconsciousness wrong increases my focus on my mistake. My mistake offers me an opportunity to upgrade. “Thank you ‘unconscious agreement with imperfection’! I love you.”
- I recommit to my conscious thoughts!
- I forgive me for auto-piloting my thoughts.
- I literally and physically shake my head and erase all scenes of imperfect agreement thoughts, close my eyes and imagine all new scenarios where my fellow passenger feels fully supported, calm and still.
- In my mind, I “see” her in her God Perfection – whole and healed.
- I decree several times within me – “I AM already God-supported, calm and still.”
- I imagine how I feel now that she is calm and physically still.
I invested a few moments in my conscious inner process. As I opened my eyes and glanced in her direction, I noticed her service animal under the seat in front of her as she sat perfectly still. I watched several more minutes as she sat physically calm and still. I was amazed at her transformation!
My smile spread across my face and my joy increased, and yet, why am I amazed at her upgrade? I am the one who called for it! I am the one who imagined it! And, I am always, and in all ways, amazed and grateful for miracles.
Interestingly, I shared in her miracle. She upgraded in her physical body, and I upgraded in my awareness – my consciousness. It is now our miracle. And, I am thankful.
Living in Grace moment to moment,
💜
