As I continue to upgrade, I remember more and more of what I already know to be true, and my conscious path continues.
A few years ago, I attended, studied, and presented basic information at a weekend retreat on the highly popular Enneagram.
Combining my Enneagram study with my consciousness study, I quickly understand Enneagram Sixes experience a higher propensity (compared to other Enneagram numbers) to go through life asking “what if” questions.
“What if” questions are typically fear-based questions exploring scenarios where experiences can go south.
“What if…..”
“What if….”
“What if…..”
In asking “what if” questions consistently, E6es can live in a continual state of fear, and E6es are motivated by the desire to have security. So, what do we do with the “what if” question?
As we understand the Scale of Emotional Harmonics, developed by Dr. John Ray and upgraded by Robert Stevens, we know fear upgrades into faith, confidence and assuredness.
We can flip tendencies of fear-based “what if” language into powerful faith-based “even if” language. When we make our Highest choices, we stand in our faith-based purpose of “even if.”
Faith-based upgrades are also found in Bible scripture.
In the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, as they stood facing certain death in a burning furnace, they used faith-based language of “even if” instead of fear-based language.
“King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[c] from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” ~ Daniel 3
“Even if” language is also seen in the story of Esther.
“I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”
~ Esther 4
Do you hear yourself speaking in “what if” language? Do you ask yourself or others “what if” questions?
Rather than ask a “what if” question, practice using “even if” language as a statement such as
- I can ________, even if ____________.
- I am ________, even if ____________.
- I will ________, even if ____________.
- I choose ________, even if ____________.
- I have ________, even if ____________.
- I love ________, even if ____________.
- I create ________, even if ____________.
- I enjoy ________, even if ____________.
State your Highest choice for your desired outcome, and stay with it! Continue speaking your desired outcome. When we plan for Plan B (what if), we have created and will receive Plan B.
Stay with your Highest Choice ........ even if!
